Name: rekha i have very rough skin around my nose..and chin is also very rough..i have many many whiteheads on them pleasee help me to make it clean and smooth..i have tried taking steam off NO use..

i have very rough skin around my nose..and chin is also very rough..i have many many whiteheads on them pleasee help me to make it clean and smooth..i have tried taking steam off NO use.. Anita replied. It is good to to have oily skin versus dry skin. You are prone to develop less wrinkles on the long run. Anita replied. - Drink as much water & fresh fruit juices as you can. Also include lots of fruits and veges in your diet.
- Keep your face clean by washing it with plain water and a mild cleanser. You can also wash your face with warm water twice.
- Rub your face with lemon skin and wash it off. It helps in opening up the pores.
- Use used green tea by scrubbing your face with it. Do it twice a week.
- Exfoliate your skin gently with products containing salicylic acid
- Jojoba oil is a good moisturizer for skin used after scrubs to remove blackheads and whiteheads.
- Fresh paste made with Methi leaves (if you can get them). Leave it on the chin and nose for 10-15 minutes and wash off. You can also try grounded methi seeds to make a paste as well.

See if these help for a few weeks and if nothing changes, go to a professional.

Please don' t scratch or try to pick them at any time. You will have worse problems than what you have now.

nafisa replied. hi rekha firstly u nees to clean ur system to avod this problem in future.drink butter milk after ur lunch take lot of water eat lots of cucumbers .when ever u r free just rub a piece of tomato or a cucumber or a piece of papaya all over ur face and neck and then keep it for 15min and wash it off u will feel good and gie a proper face massage with any good cream then take steam on ur face and try removing them gently. You do not want to try and pinch or squeeze these guys out if they are stubborn. They can leave a permanant scar on your skin. Your rough skin is probably due to this.

Go to the pros

Get a facial if you can. Since you have already tried steaming without any luck, you are better off seeing a beautician or dermatologist. thankx for taking out time for me..my skin is very oily except for the nose and chin...i have to consult dermatologist..but before that i would like to try some home remedies..
