Has anybody been flying in the 2nd trimester? I am planning to go on vacation --are there any precautions I should take?
How can I prepare for a smooth flight?

Tips for air tavel,
If ur traveling fasten ur seat belt beneath ur abdomen,across tops of ur thighs.
Get up periodically and move about, for every 1 or half an hour, blood can pool in ur leg if u sit for extended period.and
don't cross ur leg and sit,if possible select a seat directly behind a bulkhead so u have more leg room,drink plenty of liquids during flight.
And if take fruit like orange and apple if u don't like flight food.
BEst check with ur doc before leaving.
Drink bottled water and don't eat fruits that have not peeled.

This is Mansi. I did flied to Florida in my 4th month for a vacation. If you are feeling healthy & if your doc dont restrict you from taking this trip dont worry it will go smooth.

Dont drink any juice or take any snacks just before you board as the take-off will make u feel a bit dizzy and u may feel like vomitting if u just had food. Drink lots of water to avoid dehydration all the time except take-off & landing time. When u order for drinks in flight avoid ice.
