Had my 33rd week appt today morning... Glad to hear everything was fine, baby's heartbeat my BP....I gained about 2 lbs since my last appt., two weeks back.
And gr8 to hear my baby has dropped(which I had felt since 2-3 days some movements near the vagina) and it is head down position as of today.(but can change anytime I guess)
Had some concerns about preterm and everything...my doc said nothing to worry just relax and be happy. Actually yesterday night felt like had a little white creamy discharge, so was wondering whether it was the mucous plug, but my doc said the mucous plug wud most probably be blood stained, pinkish or brownish and clear thing so it definately wasnt that. ( I hope so )
I have developed some rashes on my lower belly(more looks like stretch marks) which cause itching too since last week...so had called the nurse for that where she suggested applying benedryl itch cream.... It really is effective, doc said continue applying it...its just the preg hormones thats causing the itch.
What else....oh ya...I got a breastfeeding bag( infact it looks more like a diaper bag) from the doc, it is from Enfamil, contains some brochures for enfamil, a small can with enfamil formula sample and 2 ice packs which can be freezed and kept in the bag to keep breastfed milk cool in the bag.
Thats all frm my end...long one ...sorry dont get bored...

Gr8 to hear everything went fine with ur appt. Don;t worry so much about the white creamy discharge , i get it all the time . It is fungal infection ( which my doc said is not an actual infection that needs treatment.

Good to know that ur baby has dropped . Actually i am 31+3 days pregnant & i too get a feeling at times that their is some movement near the vaginal area. But my doc said that my baby is still in a breech position . I dunno what to think of it , coz i surely feel something way below . but i guess the doc knows better. Like my hubby says , trust her & do as she says .

But meenu what exactly does it mean that the baby has dropped . Does it mean ur more close to the delivery ??

I am having a lot of sleep problems too.Have tried everything till now .Last nite to i slept only for 2-3 hrs, Can't even sleep in the day. even the warm bath & warm milk is not helping much.anyways just have to bear with it i guess.

I was having upper abdominal pains last nite . The doc said it was just due to constipation or acid . but i am still worried , coz i was also having lower back pain ( near the t-bone).but since i have a lot of back pain as it is , i could not say if this was any different.

Is eating lot of potato bad in pregnancy ? let me know

Who is coming to us for ur delivery meenu ? my mom would be coming by 10th of aug. It wud be a bleesing to have her here with us .
