Is it okay if I mix zinc oxide powder in my lotion to get an effective sunblock. I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (which is a great lotion). Also, would I have to preserve it in the refrigerator or something? What would be the SPF level??? Or should I just put some zinc oxide powder mixed in water in a container and store it in my purse? What is the shelf life of zinc oxide mixed in water? Thanks for your reply. :)
