I am Spandana, married a year ago. Suddenly my Mother In Law said that she have a vow to offer my hair at Tirupathi. I have long hair and never want to cut my hair. Pleased my husband but he seems to be happy to see me with shaven head so no help from him. I am nervous now and need courage from ur experience. Please advice

Hair will grow after some months and don' t feel about ur hair,after headshave the hair will grow back with more thickness and strength. If you do ur tonsure in tirupathi means it' ll be more auspicious...

Why you worry about head shave. Its nice experience of tonsure, especially at TIRUPATI. So many ladies of your age, older than you and even younger to you would be waiting in que for their tonsure.

We have planned the visit to TIRUPATI and tonsure at Kalyakatta or at the Cottage for my entire family, (wife, mother, son & daughter) around 16.08.2012 or 17.08.2012.

Go & Enjoy the head shave. Shaving the Head at TIRUPATI is very auspicious. It is the leaning at the Lod Venkateshwara' s feet and leaving all our ego to him. Surrendering to Lord for his blessings for our as well as family' s remaining life.

So do not hesitate and happily say YES to your mother-in-law and hubby. They would be very happy that you would be fulfilling their vow.
