Due Date Club June 2009:Exercises to do from 5th month

Hi everyone

Wanted to check what were some of the exercises all of you did to help with easy and normal deliveries. I am walking for 30 min a day... anything else that will prepare my body to go into labour naturally and not do a c-section, pls let me know.

I am a lazy goose and i had done nothing other than walking for 45 mins a day besides that i did my daily household chores. I think Bharti is the right person to guide you as she was doing a lot of exercises and was also pushing all of us to do the same.

Was your first delivery normal? is yes then why worry follow the same routine of your first pregnancy. If your first pregnancy was a c-section than in anycase this one would be c-section. Still if you wish to do some more exercises this time i guess Bharti is the right person to guide you.

Hi Ramya

My first was a planned C-Section as I had GDM and was on insulin. However this time the doc has said she would let me try for normal provided i dont develop insulin dependent GDM and everything else is fine. So praying and hoping that everything goes fine and I will have a normal delivery. I very badly want to have the experience of labour and recovery will also be faster which is something I am looking forward to with 2 kids :). So want to make sure that I do whatever I can.. At the end it is in His hands and He will do what is best and I am perfectly ok with it..

So wanted to check , if there is some specific exercises that will help to strengthen the pelvic and uterine muscles to help normal delivery...

Love to Vishnu.. He will be a month old in another 4 days.. time is flying by :)

Welcome back Roshni.. I can understand how difficult it is to manage all alone.. Hope you have some help now.

Hi All

We were blessed with a baby girl on the 3rd of Nov. It was a normal delivery (VBAC). Both of us are doing fine. How are all of you and your little ones doing.
