I want to share my first short haircut experience that happened today. Due to the summer I was really not able to manage my hair and it was also causing headache - so I decided to get a haircut today. I went to a nearby barbershop that had no one on the chair. Entered and took the seat - the barber caped me and asked me if it' s short haircut - I said I should be able to comb my hair but take it a little short at the back - He immediately took the clippers and said I will now give you the cut with #2 attachment - if it' s long, I can go for #1 , he gave a sample by running the clippers on the left side - oh my god - I felt it left a patch - but he assured me it' s not short enough and it can be adjusted nicely, bent my head and ran it at the back. nice feeling when he ran it , he now ran on the right side and completed the machine. at the top now I had lengthy hair and sides and back it was clipped. he then gradually used scissors and adjusted the hair at the top and made it short all over such it looked neat - I ran my hand over the back to see if it' s short enough - yes it was but I wanted clipper action again on the back - I asked him if he can use #1 - he said if he used it would be like skin visible and said it may not be ok - though I very much wanted it, I also felt may be let me take it in phases and left half-hearted. probably next time it will be #1 and / or #0. waiting for my colleagues reaction on monday... I have been enjoying \" machine cuts\" with hand-held clippers i.e. we call it mashine. I am NOT clear what is #2 and #1, I presume they are attachments to an electical clipper. Arun Rama replied. Hi,
Thank you for similar experience. You can go for proper machine cut i.e., without any attachments. Did you retain the moustache? In my case after the \" machine cut\" the barber on his own removes it and I enjoy the same. What about \" razoring\" experience?
