I am also from Japan..very nice to see some one from Japan...You are staying in which city?

Ya even I get this complex when I see pregnant japanese women..they just get the bulge on their stomach..and after they deliver the baby..
their stomach just goes inside like a bursted baloon :)

Even I was 3-4kgs overweight before pregnancy..and now I am in 19th week..I have gained nearly 2.5kgs..I think by the end of 20th week..I will put on more than 3kgs..
Though I am not eating much..I have slightly gained weight...but I dont know exactly what to avoid in my diet..so I am just continuing with my diet..

I have an appointment with my doctor next week..so if she has some worries with my weight gain..then I will try to avoid some rice..

Hi Ramya ,

Great to see someone from Japan.I stay in Tokyo Edogawa Ku.
Yes japanese woman really give me complex.After delivery they are just back to their normal skinny clothes.No need to heavy workout to burn the fat around the hips and tummies.I really envy them.And this too when all they eat is meat and Rice :-))
Really nice to hear from you.Hope you have found a good clinic.Do you understand japanese? Or may be the Doctors can speak english?That' s major problem here.

Good to see ur reply.good that ur doctor speaks english.But must be very difficult for you to get ur querries resolved.all the best.
BTW where are you staying in Japan?Are you based in Tokyo?And are you working or a homemaker?
I am here for last 3 years.I can speak and understand japanese pefectly so uptill now no problem for me though my doctor doesn´ t speak english at all.I also attended thematernity classes by ward and those were also in japanese but I could understadn everything and it was very helpful.

Sorry for the late reply...
Ya I found a good hospital..I cannot understand japanese..it is very tough language...just lucky that my doctor can speak little english..
The nurses and hospital staff cannot speak even a single word in english..but till now managing with sign language..
