i am 16yrs old. last summer i had typhoid. during that my hair started falling. before that i had very thick hair n it was difficult to hold them while making pony. but due to hair fall during typhoid, my hair have become half. i took vitamins as well as iron tablets after the treatment of typhoid for abt 1 month. but hair fall didn't stop and doctors said its natural after typhoid. then after a month or 2, falling os hair has stopped, but very less new hair have grown from that time to now.
is there any home remedy to make my hair thick back. not totally like before, but still to some extent? have anyone gone through this situation.

It is very common to have lose hair after typhoid. I had typhoid twice when I was 15 & again whe I was 17. After the second time I lost so much hair that everone thought I would go bald.
The doctor did not have any treatment to offer other than vitamins. I used to cry whenever I brush my hair. Someone told my mom to get the whole head shaved which stimulates the growth. I was very upset but after mcuh crying I agreed to try that. My mom took me to a barber and asked him to shave my head He shaved it very smooth with an Ustara, using a mixture of water oil and shaving gel.
It took a long time but when it grew back it was thick, healthy and wonderful.
Last month my neighbour had the same problem. She did not want her head shaved because she is a married woman but her husband agreed and she also had her head shaved clean. Now it is gorwing fast and thick.
I am pretty convinced that shaving with a razor close to the skin is a sure way to make hair healthy and strong. Please feel free to ask me if you have any more questions. If you can afford a few weeks of being bald, this may be something to consider.
