I am from june board i had posted message regarding flu shot i don't know wether u checked it so,i got my flu shot today and my pcp told me its completely safe,and as alpana told flu season will run till april my doc told me the same and there is shortage of flu shots too everyday they keep telling in news too,
so now u need not worry as i and alpana have taken it,i have heard in cannada to its very bad this year.

Thank u vm and alpana for letting us know about flu shot,i too live in ny and was concerned wether to take it or not,now i am taking it tomorrow,even my doc suggested to take it as this time its deadly flu,even if we have fever it won't affect that much if we take the flu shot.
