Dear friends

This is karthika from tamilnadu. i am new to this site. i recently got married with an differently abled person. he is very nice person and he giving more respect to every thoughts and feelings of me. i am so happy to live with him.
few day back he revealed about his vow to me and i was shocked bcz he vowed that after our marriage planned to offer our hair to thirupathi temple, and after some times to palani also, i am having mid back length thick hair, i dnt know what to say, he added that if i dnt like the vow means he wont comple me. so lz tell me some suggestions

I have undergone my headshave in palani three months before and now my hair had grown four inches.I an narried and having a baby boy.My hubby tells me that I loks so cute in my short hair

You r very right and i am appreciating you for ur great thinking. Your hubby is a lucky one for having you as life partner. By the way i have to fulfill my vow in tirumala this march. So may be u can see me with shaved head in march ending or in april. After marriage i will do the same with my would be. I hope she is ready for headshave
at that time. I wanna chat with u to clarify my doubts so as to convince her for headshave.

Thanks for the reply. As desired by hubby and suggested by your parents go & enjoy your head shave at Tirupati first and then after some months (say 8 to 9) have it at Palani.

As per your post, I am happy that you have decided for the head shave. You will always be blessed by Lord Balaji for your act.

By getting the head shave you will make happy to entire your in-laws as well as your parents.

Please ask your hubby to get his head shave alongwith you. I hope, you both will be looking good & georgous after head shave like \" LAXMI-NARAYAN PAIR\" .

Everybody around you and your society people shall give you blessings.

For head shave, if you stay in around chennai, hydrabad, abngalore, saturday 28th Jan, which happens to be Vasant Panchami or 6th Feb, Monday, being the full moon day are auspicious. Avoid any amvasya.

Here also same problem. I requested my would be to prepare for her headshave in tirumala after marriage. She is in dielemma like u. I left her for her own choice. I think she may agree as we have to fulfill the vow.. As a friend i am suggesting u to follow ur hs ritual as it will make ur husband happy and also u will get god' s grace.

No worry or confusion for your head shave as vowed by your hubby. Tonsure at Tirupati, at the feet of Lord Balaji is nothing but surrendering the ego and start a fresh life altogether. Do not fear, since, the barbers at Tirupat, Kalyankatta, are very expert.

Do not hesitate, not to fear what the people in & around the society shall say. Forget everything, the people will rather support you and your family.

Moreover, you said, you like head shave, then, where the question arise of confusion & fear. Go & enjoy your head shave at Tirupati. Once you get headshave, you will definately say YES again for tonsure at Palanii too.
