hi
i m arun i am 13 yrs and i study in 7th grade.recently my mother took me to an astrolger,instantly she(the astrologer)
spotted that my ears were not pierced.she told that it is a must.i have an elder sister, archana and according to my
caste rules the elder sister has to perform the ceremony.my sis told that since i was going to look a bit feminine with earrings
hanging from my lobes,it is better by completing the look and look fully like a girl,ie wearing other jewels like bangles,
wearing feminine dress and having long hair.though i was a bit reluctant,i agreed and my sister promised me that she ll join me
in a all girls school.i have some doubts:-
1)i am planning to have mid length hair, what sort of hairstyle will suit me.personally i like a bob cut or pony tail with fringe that is some hairstyle that is very girlish.
2)what sort of earring should i wear? my sis told no studs.i like a bangle type earring is it ok to wear that or
should be traditional jhumkas and ear drops?
3)for how much time should i wear earrings?
4)what sort of dress should(must be feminine) i wear?

Anjana replied. A 13 year old.. feminizing.. and these discussions about jewellery and the dresses the \" girl\" is going to wear. wow!
Way to go people
sanjana replied. dear arun, nose piercing is compulsory,it will transform your look though it is very painful.since your sister wants to perform the ceremony completely, she is planning to get your nose pierced.fringe hairstyle gives you a good luck, though it is maintanence intensive
arun replied. hi
my sister archana plans to pierce my nose, though i was hesitant, she is forcing me,what type of nose ring should i choose, stud type or ring type?
also archana took me to a beauty parlour, and got me a fringe hairstyle
narayan replied. hi arun.. how' s the preparation 4 the big day goin on? my family saw ur post and my mother asked if u could send me ur video & pictures of the ceremony? she wants to use ur ceremony as a guide wen i want to do the ceremony 4 my children. ur now a hero in my family.. =)
aditi replied. hi arun
preparations for the big ceremony.. so when is the big day?as for the clothes, nice i am sure they will suit you and the heavier earrings would give better feel and also last longer
arun replied. thank you narayan.yesterday went with my sis to buy some dresses to wear.we went
to nearby clothes shop, got many pattu pavadi(silk skirts) and a couple of churidhars for me.also archana decided that the earrings purchased for me were light, and hence used filler to make it much heavier and stronger since i was going to wear it every day.then since i was going to join a girls school,i got some skirts and tops.
narayan replied. good luck & congrats on ur kadu kuthal. if it' s done 2day u' ll b able 2 remember it as ur valentine' s day gift from ur sister...
p.s:very proud of u..
arun replied. hi
2 days ago, went to jewellery shop with archana and mom to choose earrings and other jewellery.we went to prince jewellery.first the earrings,my sister selected a gimmiki type, with lot of art work and stones,it ended in a pearl, and it was quite long and very heavy.it was so long that,it would touch my shoulders when i wear it,then for the second earring a simple silver ring with a pink crystal was chosen.then we bought bangles, anklets etc.tomorrow going to buy dresses for me.
Ravi kumar replied. hmmmm i can understand, may be when i put mottai I will share the pics. infact i had a few of them somewhile ago but lost it as my comp crashed. i have also added you on gtalk but i guess you have accepted the invite :( Ping me when u login .... I see a lot of apprehension
Ravi kumar replied. Dear Arun,
Hope the ceremony went good ?
Dear Aditi, Will you be able to put mottai for me ? I can be reached on
aditi replied. dear arun,
soo many doubts you have,it is appreciable
that you are taking a keen interest in your ear piercing function, though if i had been in your sister position,i would have tonsured you as well, and as for the feminine part, you can wear a wig.
sanjana replied. hii arun
the problem of ear holes closing,is present for you boys, there are many ways to stop it,
1)wear a heavy earring, with plenty of movement like the diamond jhumkas you have chosen,if you wear them continously(or atleast regularly) for 2 years or more, they elongate the hole pierced in your ear lobe thus after some time the hole is long enough and it cant close.
2)usage of heated needles for ear piercing, this makes the ear piercing sterile, leaves a large circular hole and it pains a lot,and it is used commonly in ear piercing ceremonies.
3)use of retainers which are put in place around the piercing and prevent closing.
arun replied. hi sanjana
thanks for replying to my questions.since the hole in the ear lobe closes gradually after the earrings are removed,is there a way to prevent this, because if the hole closes, its supposed to be bad,and my sis is telling again the ears have to be pierced!
sanjana replied. dear arun
for the second earring it has to be a ring(hoop)type earring, because it offers a lot of contrast with the main earring ie,the jhumka or gimmiki, and you can also wear the ring alone as well.if the ring is of gold,it would offer the best contrast.nose piercing... it would infuse a lot of feminity, but it pains a lot,go for a stud type nose ring, and its preferable if its diamond.
arun replied. hi
my earrings will be a hook type diamond jhumka or gimmiki as my sister archana calls it.also i wanted a second ear piercing and archana, should the earring be a stud or ring ?also my sis is forcing me to get my nose pierced, but i dont know what to do.
Sanjana replied. Dear arun,
I am sure, you look cute with double plait
Make sure you get them braided and oiled, because
It will give a feminine school girl look.also go for the hook
Type earrings,as they give a lot more \" movement\" and
You will definitely look better.
arun replied. hi
thanks for your advice,my function is going to be held net week.my hairstyle is a double plait center part.i have to choose between a hook type or screw type diamond jhumka.
aditi replied. hello arun
you have made an excellent decision by agreeing to your ear piercing function, though obviously your sister archana forced you into it.since you would definitely girly(cute actually),its best that the look is completed and you wear other jewels etc.
regarding your doubts:
1.i recommend you go in for a traditional hairstyle, like long hair, with center parted, neatly oiled and plaited.you will look great and it is feminine
2)go in for diamond jhumkas,if possible, they are the ultimate in earrings, and they will transform your look.
sanjana replied. dear arun
ear piercing is very important and it is good that you have agreed though a little late.your sister, archana in your looking girlish.as for your doubts:
1)a bob cut with fringe is perfect.
2)any earrings from a chandeliar earring to jhumkas
3)ask your sister!
4)skirts and other frilly dresses
Ravi kumar replied. Aditi or Sanjana are the experts they should be able to suggest you better ideas !

Name: arun Subject: finally,part 1
hi
sorry couldnt reply,i have to use my sisters laptop only, and she doesnt give it to me very often.i ll describe the experiences in parts as i dont have much time now.let me with start with my hair, after the decision to perform the ceremony,i was not allowed to go get a haircut, steadily my hair grew and after 2 months my mom oiled my hair, parted it right at the center and made it into two plaits.i was shocked when i looked at the mirror,i looked totally different.after some more months my double plait became a single plait, and my mom oiled it everyday.i could not let my hair open as it was not as straight and silky as my sisters.now also i have single plaited hair, center parted, though i like side part,my mom forces me to have a center part.around 2 months ago my sis and my mom took me shopping for jewellery.we went to a place near my house.first the earring was chosen.i wanted only a simple earring, but my sis chose a large ' kundan earring' ,it looked very good but it was very heavy and i was very afraid of the prospect of it hanging fom my ear lobes!finally the gimmiki was chosen by archana(my sis),it was so long that it almost reached my shoulder then we bought a second set of earrings for me ,it was just a simple ring.then other items like bangles, anklets a necklace and even a nethi chutti(ornament worn on the
head) and ofcourse a nose ring(the type worn at the center of the nose) were purchased.the next round of shopping was for my dresses, which were to only female dresses.by this point i realized opposition to this was futile and decided to assist archana in doing the ceremony.the very next day mom archana and me went to a famous clothshop,to buy new dresses which consisted mostly of silk skirts and tops and a couple of half sarees.the next big event was my sister taking me to the beauty parlour
where i had my hands and legs waxed, though it did pain a bit,it left my arms and legs smooth and my hair was conditioned and shampooed.just one more week for my ceremony.

dear swetha
skirts are more comfortable, especially for boys.it gives you more freedom and airiness,so enjoy wearing your skirts.but there are, some things you have to be careful.the wind is a pervert, when there is wind your skirt balloons up and everyone can see your, privates.since you are a boy and your genitals hang outside, even if your skirts lift a little ,everyone can see it and girls especially are very curious.also wearing short skirts again will expose your genitals.probably you can wear undergarments but they restrict movement.

Name: M B Subject: liked your transformation as a girl.
Hey Arun, I felt very happy and excited to read your post of conversion from a boy to a girl, since i am also planning to convert my self from a boy(young man) to a typical Bhaiyani (women from U.P or Bihar), i have already started the process by piecing both my ears and nose, also i have kept long hairs from last one year and so soon
planning to become a bhaiyani for ever.
You can go through my post.
I am 22 years unmarried male.
I have came across many people making
fun of bhaiyanis (womens of bhaiya
communities of U.P and Bihar etc.) like they
wear very funny and colourful dress/ sarees and apply very bold and colourful makeup, dark colourful lipstiks etc, also they apply musturd & chameli oil in their hairs, braid in funny hairstyle with long line of orange colour sindoor in their
forhead(maang) and they stink. over they look funny. actually this is not true. They follow their tradition. I feel they look beautiful in their attire and i really love the way they dress, plaite their hair and fragrence of mustard and chameli oil in
their hairs, and the most lovely part i like is their forehead(maang) filled with long line of orange colour sindoor.
So i am planning to adapt all this and
become a typical bhaiyani for ever. I
would love to be called as bhaiyani
I am very serious, Pls help me with ur suggestions and also Suggest my new name from below
1] Bimla, 2] Sushiladevi, 3] Mayawati, 4]Rooparani, 5] Lajwanti, 6] Phoolmati, 7] Gulabo, 8] Chameli.
I cant wait any longer so I am very much planning to transform myself very soon in to a beautiful typical bhaiyani with traditional hairstyle applied with huge amount of mustard and chameli oil and long line of orange colour sindoor in my maang(forehead).
