Hi everyone,

Yesterday was my regular checkup with the Doc, he cheked for my weight, BP, baby's heartbeat. everything's just normal, except my weight, which is 2-3 kgs more as per normal gain.
One thing is bothering me since y'day is my baby's movements, I am feeling lesser movements since y'day, but while checking up my Dr didnt pinpoint anything regd this, otherwise my baby seems to b pretty active. I will wait till today evening otherwise wud speak to the Dr n wud again go for a checkup, in the meantime, can anyone throw some light on my concern,is it normal?? As am much worried,pl suggest !!

Hi friendz,
One more way to come out of this tension is, keep a piece of ice on your tummy...and baby will start moving. Hee-hee-hee.

Hello golden,

happy to know that baby and you are doing fine!!. I am now 25 weeks. Even I don't feel the movements daily or follow any pattern. Sometimes they are hard and sometimes they are very feeble. So, I think all these are normal. My mom said that the movements will be more and easily recognizable after crossing 30weeks gestation. So don't worry and enjoy!!!!!!

Regards,
blessed_mom

Hey golden ,

good to know things are going good on ur side ...

abt bay movements, i ahd the same concern when i met my ob in my 24 week visit , the movements are randaom, somedays i do not feel any , she said that is normal .... the baby's movements become more unifrom with waking/sleeping patterns more like from 28th week....

that is why, even on pregnancy websites, they recommend counting the number of kicks to make sure te bay is doing fine from 28th week ....

so do not worry ..i am sure your baby is just having one of those days when she/he is lazing around, not feeling like moving around much :)

Take care,
-P

Good that all is well with u and the baby. Even I feel reduced movements sometimes. Try drinking cold water or eat something sweet and lie on ur left side. Anyway the best answer wud be given by ur OB. I think there is something called a 'kick count' that is done. I don't know from which week that can be done, ask ur ob and keep us posted.

Bye and love to ur baby,
Leo

Hi

Me too feeling less baby movements nowadays. But during night if i sleep on my left side, the movement is normal. i could not find whether i din have much concentration on movement or really the movement is less...Anyway lets see what doctor says and let me know after u get a suggestion fom doctor...Take care and nothing to worry abt this..everything will be normal....I think ur baby would have become more tired by kicking u from inside. So it is sleeping well..
