my 3 month old girl does not sleep without a pacifier.....whole day she does not need it but during naps n sleep she needs it for 5 mins atleast....how harmful is it? what should i do???docs here in us say that pacifier is not bad unless it is excess....what should i do to remove it completely.....
plzz help

Hi Rishta,

My daughter is 8 months old and still uses the pacifier during naps and at night but at some point she spits it out, my pediatrician told me that babies need to suck to calm themselves and I need not worry upto 2 years of age only after 2 years there are issues of spoiling the teeth, I plan to stop when she is 1 year old(hopefully). If you want to stop you should do it in the next 1-2 months. But don't worry too much about it.

My son is one year old and he is not doing few things a one year should do !!
He does not point at things
He does not say Amma or any words
He does not pick up any objects and show to me

9.5 months milestones
My DS is 9.5 months old and does not clap wave or point at things !! I will put down a list which he is good at and which one worries me.
