Hi everyone,I am new to this forum.I am am having problem with lice in my head.My mom and aunt advised me to get my hair cut very short.I am having shoulder length hair now. First,when I heard this, I was happy to have a new look,but now, I am confused as my friends told me this will be boring look for me...But my aunt is persisting me for boycut or head shave..This is first time I am going to have haircut.I have a lot of doubts in my mind, whether it can be done in beauty parlor or barbershop..?Will the beauticians be able to give me a good look..?Do I need to go to Barbershop...?Does the clipper machine will have any other bad effect...?Any girls who have undergone haircut/head shave in barbershop/beauty saloons pls help me.... Hi, i am 26 male, i have been through your post, and am very much surprised about ur decision of going for an haircut/headshave just for the reason of lice. You are a female and blessed to keep very very long hairs, lice is a very common problem for both females and males, timely and proper haircare methods are necessary to keep lice in check. I am a male, but still belive in keeping long hairs. My hairs are upto my waist and i take proper care of it. I too suffer from lice and nits but that does not mean i should cut my hair short or go for headshave. I insted enjoy oiling my hairs heavily and going for a very long licecombing session. I daily oil my long hairs twice, early morning after bath and late afternoon or evening, and sometimes also at night before going to bed. after oiling in the morning and late afternoon i go for an 1 1/2 hour of lice combing session everyday using fine tooth nitcomb. In the morning i do it my self or sometime my aunt do it. But in the evening i have a group of 8 to 10 ladies joining me for oiling and licecombing in our varandha. It is almost two hours of chatting and all of them help each other in oiling and licecombing. This helps in keeping the lice and nits in check. I wash my hairs twice a week with herbal shampoo. I also wear lots of Jasmine or mogra gajras every sunday, and some time tie a silver thread veni on my hairs.
So please do not cut your hairs, take proper care of it. Long hairs are wonderful to keep do not cut it. Richa replied. Hi
I am a giral aged 16. I have been enjoying my machine cuts in a local barber shop.The machine cut permits me to comb like boys.I have such cuts once in two months.I accompany my brother Ravi who go to the barbershop every month. Hi, having gone thru your posting, I feel there should not be confusion for the same.

My wife, she is also sporting the boycut. Yesterday only she had done hair cut to boycut. She is keeping this style for almost last 10 years or so.

Do not worry, for your new look. The beatuticians in the Ladies Beauty Parlour, are very professional and gives a proper advice about the hair cut.

Its a common now a days to sport the boycut for you ladies, from young to aged too, they do not hesitate for any change, may it be boycut, mushroom cut, razor cut, short hair cut etc.

Go & enjoy your boycut. Kindly post your experience on the site. Even visit to the barbershop is also a good idea, they are also very much trend in the hairstyling the ladies hair cut. Clipper cut does not have ny bad effect. My wife, as mentioned, had a boycut and machine cut for sporting her boycut, yesterday itself.
