Dear feb 2008 club friends,

I am very happy to inform all of you that i delivered boy baby,(Nithilan)on Feb 7th,c-section due to high pressure at last moment.he is doing great,since i am with my parents in India,i am managing everthing cooly.

first 45 days i had a terrible time with him,becaz i hardly slept 1or 2 hrs in night,becaz of that i couldn' t update you.now everything is going smoothly,except normal feeding,i am using nipple shield,(becaz of c-sec,i was not allowed to feed for 2 days,by that time they gave Lactogen by filler,so after that he started expecting the same length of nipple, so doc.advised me to use nipple shield)till now i couldn' t change his habit,what shall i do

ck replied. Congrats on the arrival of your little one. Hope now you recovered well by now. I don' t know much abt nipple shield, you shd change the way he breastfeeds initially I guess. Try if he likes to change otherwise what you are doing is good.

Is your baby gaining weight? if yes, it is normal to use it.

I am feeding Nirmayi by expressing milk and then giving it through bottle all the time. As long as they are drinking breast milk it is ok.

Anyways now we are nearing the end of third month situation. so why change his pattern? Anyways you will start fruites for him by this month end.

Only thing to ensure with such aids is proper burping and sterlisation.
