hi... since i was a child everyone make fun of me just becouz i was born really dark very very dar, the called me names and teased me,, how do i ignore there horrible memoried, has anyone ever felt like this.. how do u go on wit your life?

verne replied. and i dont prefer to be fair, where i live ( outside india ), they absolutely love my colour, and the pale white colour is absolutely horrible! Without make up they look like albinoes!
Be sensible and be proud of your colour, atleast u were born normal, during our medical classes i have seen patients who dont even have a normal face, who are born with congenital malformations, who are mentally retarded, who will never know how and why their existence prevails.
At first i felt the same too, everyone is my family is fairer than me, but you should see the brighter side, dark skin is in fashion now.
Be confident, and its not a sin to be born dark, infact i believe its a boon, since dark skinned people can never contract skin cancer ( melanin production makes sure of that ). Always show other people that you respect your colour and are proud of it, and the others will respect you too, if you show them u are embarassed of your colour, they will feel the same. Walk your head high because you have no reason to feel embarassed.
I have a classmate who is darker than everyone put together, but all the foreigners here love her colour, and she is known as the indian beauty queen here!
Lastly, bottom point is, colour doesnt make a damn difference in life, what matters is on the inside, literally, for how long people are going to like you for your colour? There will be a time when people look beyond your colour. The same is with me, i am intelligent, smart, charming, and know how to handle and charm my way around, and i am dark, and no one cares about my colour, everyone cares about how i present myself and how my personality is. And thats what matters in life, a good and charming personality and a strong character.

i told you about congenital deformities in the first post, google it and see what comes up. I know and believe for sure that any normal human face and colour is a beautiful one, you will see what i am talking about when you see the images displayed by google. Be thankful you were born normal, some arent born with lips, or nose, or eyes, or ears, or proper alignment of face.
Secondly, the people who place your colour as a human value for you, and who tease u for being dark, are shallow and dumb. I did rather prefer to stay away from such people, who are prejudiced in the most obsolete manner.
