Hiii alll !!! Many questions here...

Hi All,

I know its been long time since i opened up my board message. Everything is fine so far..little ups and downs..
I have few questions..
1) Does any one of you have yellow urine?
2) How many glasses of water do you guys drink approximately per day?I know the standard 8-10 glasses..
3) Does any one of you suffer from any abdominal pain? I have it on and off..
4) How many of you suffer from constipation? For me , i am never constipated and hear people here and there talking about constipation. Infact i have to go twice a day.
5) My doc told that i should not have yellow urine..i don' t know why but inspite of having enough glasses of fluids , i have yellow urine only. Don' t know why!!! Its a concern for me. Please share your experiences here..
6)Is it ok to eat ginger and garlic during first trimester?
7) Is it ok to eat pomegranate?

Hopinfortejas - I am doing good , i knw didn' t get a chance to check in the messages. My last u/s was last week..the baby was a lil more than 1 inch...right now i am on 10th week..
how are things with you? how have you been? please update...

i am eager to see all the replies related to all these questions here :)

good to hear from you :-) ,

on your Qs, i was told to drink 8-10 glasses of water after my spotting incident.

i do feel constipated sometimes but most of the time, i am ok, i think there is just a lot of changes in your body and it is trying to cope with it.

slight pains are common throughout pregnancy, specially in the abdomen area where the uterus is expanding , i do feel abodiminal/back pain sometimes. I think as long as you do not have cramps and ofcourse no serious bleeding, pain is just somehting we ahve to live with during this time.

I have ginger and garlic just like usual, my mil was telling me pomegreante is good too, but i do not like it so i do not have it :-).

Thanks for sharing your experience to so many of my questions....well i am taking neevo prenatal vitamin..and doc strictly said that inadequate intake of water can cause yellow urine. I dont understand what to do...does it happen to you after taking your prenatal vitamin?

Hey CJ,

Good to hear from you. Let me try to share my experience so far:

1) No yellow urine till now, are you having any vitamins which can probably cause this (just a wild guess)?
2)Standard 6-8 glasses, and also 1 glass of Electrol
3)Have started having abdominal pain since yesterday-quite normal the doc says as the baby is gaining inches
4)Opposite of constipation for me, have to visit the loo at least twice daily
5) Ginger/garlic on the contrary is good during pregnancy-consuming garlic during pregnancy can help boost the birth-weight of growth-retarded fetuses, and for morning sickness relief, try a piece of ginger!
6)Am not sure about pomegranate tho it is in the same league as papayas and pineapple- best left avoided!

headaches

What to carry to hospital

Ladies,

I have my color doppler due next week, is it done for you all?

How will the list look like for items that we need to carry to the hospital? If I am asking my husband, he is fully ready with his camera and camcorder, but we do not quite have a clue for the MORE necessary items :).

Now on I have weekly visits to to the doc. Yesterday I attended labour/delivery preparation class which was very useful. I am in Chennai and consulting at E V Kalyani hospital.
