Name: Brittany I always put on makeup in the morning but I dont use too much since I am below the age of 15 but my problem is that it does not last long... As soon as my second class is over(in school) my makeup starts to fade away leaving \";blackish\"; dry skin behind.(because i hav dry skin,,,,but it looks worse after the make up fades away) i put loads of vaseline in the morning so that my face doesnt dry out. i also keep retouching my face with vaseline and a little bit of foundation throughout the day but it does not look good. PLZ HELP ME...........I have tried so many different creams and I m too young to waste so much money on that stuff.

dear brittany,
first of all,NEVER pur vaseline when u hve to go out in the sun.vaseline makes ur skin darker if u put it and expose urself to the sun.that'sone of the reasons y ur skin looks dark.instead of using vaseline,use a moisturiser with a sunscreen of spf above 30.or use a sunblock/sunscreen with spf +30 and a moisturiser.
next,i suggest u use stick foundation instead of liquid.liquid foundation often causes reactions and gets dirty with sweat and oil.the best thing to do will be to chose makeup from a good brand which guarantees long lasting stay(and money back guarantee too lolzzz).personally,i am against the frequent application of makeup at any age especially before 20 as ur skin is still sensitive and young.just to inform u,makeup only makes ur skin look good temporarily.in the long run,it harms ur skin and i also read that it makes ur skin darker.if ur ready to face these consequences,then go ahead but if u don't then stop doing it right now and try to treat ur skin naturally to make it look naturally gorgeous without makeup.anyways,use a good makeup remover like johnson's makeup remover and never go to bed with makeup on!

dear brittany,
u have to put sunscreen even in winters.u have to use it 365 days a year.becoz clouds block only 10% of the rays and as long as there is light,there r rays and u shud protect ur skin from them.

i have a simple remedy for you

visit the dermatologist. Atleast this way you wont ruin your skin for the rest of your life, remember whatever mistakes and brutal care you give your skin now will stick for a loooong time. you need a complete evaluation, right from a proper moisturiser to good nutrition.
You still need a sunscreen even if its remotely sunny. if its snowing, there is no use of sunscreen.

hmmm

thnx 4 the replies guys...its not too hot where I live (actually its winter time) so do I still hav to use sunscreen? And I know that make up ruins skin if you use it at an early age but my skin looks bad without it and I have tried many home remedies,,,,they dont seem to work that good... Can u guys tell me how to get natural glow in the skin without the makeup?

vaseline

doesnt make skin darker, its because its so oily and sticky, you catch on the dirt real fast and thats why you look darker. Yeah but you shouldnt apply vaseline on face and then apply make up, thats just a horrid combination. Apply a good moisturiser, with a sun block, preferrably bought from the pharmaceuticals, the darker you are, the less spf you need. Make sure its water proof too. Never apply make up before 18, you are typically ruining your skin.
