Dear All... I am in need of help from you all. My daughter she is soon going to complete 2 years. From the past one month she started slap on my face for no reason. She continues to slap using all her energy for 20-30 seconds some times it goes for a minute... and even she started to slap her dad.... and also she pulls my hair. I used my loving tone to say that this is bad habit... do not do this. If i say this she will do more n more.. even i scold and beat her (with love) and tried to make her understand about her bad habit. But she still likes to do it more and more and moreover she enjoys her act very much.
We are really confused and worried about her behaviour.
She does this act even outside... this is really embarrassing to both of us. I used all my tactics to control her action.... but nothing is working out so far. Other than that she is ok.

I do agree that some kids are aggressive and do all those things but she is doing it very often and slaps, pulls hair... very often and very long. She won't listen to us

Please someone help me out to solve this problem. I am really thankful to you all.
Thanks and regards
Suma

I dont think so you should lock her in toilet...because if kids get deep fears in there mid it last for ever.just talk to her.nad avoid violent shows from Tv..sent her to some play school or have a play group so she will play kids with her own age and will be happy.

well, its being normal in kids to do these kind of things. like if they see someone slapping someone else in front of her she wil try to immitate that thing, and even seeing scenes on tv is one of the reasons. but as u told she do it more often then there is no other way u have to make her afraid of something whtever, like locking in the toiler or whtever, but u can do one thing when she is quiet then u can tell her that its bad and if u slap someone u will be ill treated no one will talk to u and no one will brings things (chocs, toffes, etc,) for u.

well my daughter is also 2 yrs. old and i have a 6.5 months old daughter and my elder daughter sometimes slap us or even my younger daughter then we tell her that we will lock her in the toilet. then she dont do it and even ask for sorry becoz she is afraid of just this thing only. so just try out something, best of luck

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
