Hi Archie,
I had my appointment today and i gained 2lb in a month,i think its due to contol and low carb diet.my BP was normal and went for GST also.I'll get result in the next week.
One more thing which my Dr. told me that he is suspecting that baby is tiny in growth and having low lying placenta(by U/S report which was done in 18th week). So he sugested me another U/S to see baby growth and placenta position.i'll go for another U/S after 2 weeks.I am concern abt baby growth. On the last visit there was some other dr. but he didn't tell me anything regarding baby growth and placenta so today i was upset to heart it.Today he measured fundus height it is 21inches in 24 week.Is it ok?
What are the reason for baby's slow groth? What abt Low lying placenta??
Sorry i askaed so many questions but really tensed today..

low lying placenta can't be controlled by treatment. There is time however for placenta to move upward, lets see what comes out from scan.
fundus height can be +/- 2 weeks than actual gestation and is OK. But having controlled sugar can also be reason for tiny fetus, in case that turns out to be the fact. I suspect baby to be in normal range though towards on lower range.
If not then you might want to discuss about nutrition plans with OB or nutritionist.
