Due Date Club September 2004:weeks.....months???????

Name: Leena Hi everyone, I dont know much about this weeks/months business have also been very confused about it. From what I understand, they work on a lunar calendar and there are more than 4 weeks in a month. (13 weeks not 12 end the first trimester). Therefore end of preg being 40 weeks and still 9 months.(not 36)

Parul, to somewhat answer your question about 30 weeks being 7th or 8th month..I think the 8 month begins at 31 week and 9 at 36.
As for the itching.........I am in the same boat as you and harting myself with all the scratching. Doc hads told me use topical or oral benadryl...said its ok for 3 trimester. I have also strated using AVeeno..oatmeal shower gel.....somthing has helped me a little dont know which one.
Sorry if I have confused you all about the weeks calc....everyone pls free to correct on any of this

then regd itching, as we all know its coz of the stretching of our skin...in fact i have slight brownish stretch marks coz of the exposure of blood vessels but everyone's advice is that ur not supposed to scratch even if its not a tolerable itching.if we do this it will leave permanent marks which will be v difficult to remove later.applying creams will be somewhat useful to lessen itching.

, so let it be , i make myself happy by thinking that i\";ll have my little angel in my hand by 21st september (Hopefully no delays beyond 40 weeks) and i\";ll get more clarity by the U/s i\";ll be getting done
