could someone pls provide me the recepie for home made wax..i remember reading it sometimes back on this section, have missed it out though....

dear juls,
i got this recipe from a website:
In a heavy saucepan mix 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, and 1/4 cup water. Use a candy thermometer and boil it until it reaches 250 degrees (very important or it won't work right). Pour into a covered jar. To use it, cut some white strips of cotton cloth, heat the depilatory in the microwave for a few seconds, then apply powder to the area you want to wax, spread the depilatory WITH the direction the hair growth, and place a strip of cloth over the depilatory. When the depilatory has cooled, pull the strips off AGAINST the growth of the hair.

Hi Juls,
I got this recipe from frnd of mine who is working in a parlour. so go ahead and try it out. :-)
1/4 Kg Sugar, 1/4-1/2 glass of water, 1/4 tsp Citric Acid or Juice of one lime.
Boil this mxture till u get one string consistancy.
