I am 21 and just few days after my college reopening my father asked me to join him to a trip to tirupati, I was happy as i had never been there and it was just 4 hours of journey so i would be back in 2 days. As soon as we reached tirpati my father straigt took me to a tonsure hall where i could see a lot of crowd all waiting to shave their heads. I asked my fater if he was going to shave his head , he replyed no. i asked then y we are here. he said he had vowed to shave my head. I was all shocked listing to that.
Just few days after my college reopening i was not ready for it. but as my father was strick he would not listen to me.i was crying but it made no differnce to his dicision. he brought a ticket and asked me to stand in the que and stood besides me. Just before my turn came he asked me to removed my tshirt i was ashamed as i had a hairy check but had no option.i romved my tshirt and sat before the barber weeping he started to wet my hair and started to shave i could see locks of hair falling on the ground and on my feet.
In just few minutes he compleated my father asked the barber to repeate shave to ensure it was clean.he is very specific about things. after the repeate shave he touched my head to examine then he felt it was fine he asked the barber to clean the hair particles on my legs and fore head. after that he told the barber there was some on the chest. I told my father it was my chest hair. then my father asked the barber to shave the hair on chest and armpits. the barber started shaving my chest and my armpit. i was compleately shocked.after compleating my father took me to the temple and asked me not to wear the tshirt until we do the darshan...It was the worst experience i ever had i do not feel liking going to college again with my shaved head and chest...

This is Arun Rama. I am 18 and I can understand your feelings.Don' t worry. Please look foward for your first haircut after three months or so. I am sure you would go for a \" machine cut\" with the help of handheld clippers. By the by, did the barber at Tirupati shaved your face and moustache?
