My first born was a C-section and since the cut on my uterus was vertical, my doc doesn't want me to take the risk of trying to deliver vaginally. She said she'll decide after she sees my complete surgery report, but so far it looks like, I'm in for a second C-section.
Anybody can shed any lights? Shilpa replied. In my case C-section was becoz the baby had a cord around his neck and was due a week later. The baby weight was already above average. The doctor said if we would have waited a week more, then it surely would have been a c-section, becoz of the baby's excess weight. We did not want to take any risk, becoz of the cord around the baby's neck, so went for c-section. The second time, i had a missed abortion at the 5th month, so had undergone a normal delivery to remove the baby. I was not told abt the small pelvis anytime, so will have to check with the doctor. I am wondered why was the vertical cesarean for first time? If you have had verticle then less likely be TOL is offered to you, means another C-section is more likely and safer as well.

Shilpa, you can weigh possibility of VBAC as you have had only one cesarean birth and a bikini cut at lower position. Talk to your Dr. more about VBAC, provided your C-section was not because of small pelvis in your case.

I too wanted to know the same thing. Even i had my first son thru C-Section, but had a horizontal cut on the bikini line. No clue wht it wld be this time, but curious to know the experience of multiple c-section.
