I think that every woman should be aware of fibroids because they can prove too dangerous. Bigger fibroids can cause problems in pregnancy. It may create problems as it competes with baby for growth in the womb. Especially the uneducated women should be taught about how they can avoid fibroids. Some of women do not even consult doctor when they face symptoms of fibroids. There is a need of such type of education in rural India where internet, doctors and even T.V is not available. I told my 20 year old daughter about fibroids and asked her to read it on this site as this information can be useful for her in future and she can take steps from now to avoid it
