I am 29 years old and a mother of one son. I am expecting another child in December. During my last preganancy, my husband insisted on my head shave during pregnancy period, as he want to see me bald during pregnancy, but i refused and tell him to get it done during second pregnancy. Its a good idea that you decided to go for headshave. In north India Varanasi is famous of headshaves. You can visit varanasi and you can perform Vennidaan a hindu puja and as a part of vennidaan, you can also shave ur head.

Any how u gonna shave then, why not perform Vennidaan at varanasi and do headshave.

It is not a problem for a women to go for headshave during pregnancy. There is an added advantage that you can spend more time taking care of ur baby bcos u' ll be having short hair after headshave. U' ll definitely enjoy ur headshave. I hope this is ur 1st headshave. U can be cool with short hair in this summer.

Plan when and where u gonna have headshave. Its better to have in any temple like Palani / Tirupathi. If ur husband can manage doing shave to u, its even better.

Since for headshave you need to sit on floor cross legged, it may not be possible for u to sit for more time in that position, since you are pregnant. So make necessary arrangements so that u can shave by sitting in chair.

Why is your hubby insisting for shave ? Is he a headshave lover ?

By the way which month is now, how long is your hair, where are you from and when are u planning for headshave.
