I'm new to this board but a regular reader.
Hope each one of u is quite excited n enjoying ur pregnancy.
I've a silly question,this is my 27th week running n i want to arrange a baby shower. Actually i'm confused as according to weeks i'm going to complete my 7th month next week but i read on internet tht i just entered in 7th month.

So i need suggestions as all of u have been arranging for baby shower too.
How r u going to count months?Is it by weeks or by our last period date?

bittu priya replied. I thik U shud just go by the last LMP and then take it as u complete a month, on the same date the next month. Eg: my LMP is May 18 and I consider Nov 18th as the day when I'll complete my 6th month and start my 7th month.

Girls, let me know if its ok to do as above. B replied. Im currently in my 25th wk and going to start 26th wk on sunday, i am also having my baby shower this sunday, the way my family look at it is after the 24th ended and 25th began you have completed your sixth month and entered the 7th.

I also found it a bit confusing at first but if thats what the elders think in my family, i will do according, but it does make sense.

hope ive said this clearly ... but i dont know how u are doing ur baby shower, due to religion or some people just decide to have a party, if ur in the latter then u can do it when u want.
