Name: Ravi Roy Last month after a lot of hassle tussle and yes no my sister' s head was shaved.
My sister took her bath in the morning and as suggested she fasted until she had her head shave. She was made to wear a long skirt. After we went to the temple the barber was called for. She was made to sit in the ground. Then the barber opened her hair knots and started to pour water on her head. By now she had already started to cry but she din' t move at all. Then the barber tied her hair into two buns, one left and other right. Then after pouring some more water he asked her to bend her head front. Then he stared shaving from the center towards the right. Then he shaved of the left portions and cleaned the back head. Now she was almost bald and crying profusely. after some for swipes all her hairs had left her. Then the barber shaved her head once again to make it smooth. at last he wiped off her head with a piece of cloth.
My sister was very sad after the head shave. she cried for quite some time. Even now she remains sad but her hair has started to reappear once more. She has about an inch of hair now. I guess she will get enough hairs by the next 3 months. and as expected some of her friends tease her but she has to bear it for some more time until the summer vacation arrives.
Please share your views and some tips to cheer her up.

I thank both of you for your suggestions..
but my mom says that instead of a semi bald look(i mean ultra short machine cut hair)..a complete razor shave 2-3 times will help her hair to get thicker and stronger.. what do you say about that..but that means again we will have to make her go through all this ordeals once again.. please suggest something..

I agree with Ashok. Your sister is just 11 years old. She can have a short boy cut. Take her to a barber shop (or saloon). Ask the barber to giver her a ´ machine cut´ . Get the top hair cut just enough to lie flat and the side and back hair clipped close. It will look cute.

Now my sister has got quiete a bit of hair but it looks even worse then her bald look. About 3-4 inches of spike hair looks funny. .

my sister´ s is just 11yrs old..
she had to shave her head because my mom had taken a vow to shave her head.. we got a bit late but it is better late then never..
