Do you think that the design of the telephone needs to be radically redesigned today or is it perfect the way it is? Would life without telephones be simpler or more complex? Are telephones a boon or a bane?

I think the design of the telephone is fine like it would be fine if any change is made and even if not made. But yes it would be better if the telephones are a lil less bulky and occupy less space.

We are living in a time where telephones are a thing of the past. Most of the people use mobile phones and telephones are rarely used due to comparative high calling charges. A lot of people don't even have them in their home.

I do not agree with the post telephone is designed to do conversation between two people from far distances but people redesigned it for more advanced condition so that it can be used until limit usage of more than that leads to problem only.

No product in this world will be considered as boon or bane.It depends up on our usage.If we use excess it would be become bane for us and if we use it in limit definitely it will be boon for us.Though redesigned can be numerous but working would be same.
