HI All,
I had my 31st week appointment today morning. Everything seems fine with the baby. The heartbeat was gr8 and the doc said the baby was average weight baby for now he said it was about 3 lbs.
Shall be starting my 2 weekly appointments from now on. So probably they'll come sooner.
I asked the doc about the chances of going past due date, he said 30% women go past, 5% on the due date and 65% anytime between 37th week and 40th week.
About perineal massage he asked me not to do at home, they said they do it during the second stage of labor not before.
I would be having an U/S around 35th week to check the baby's position.
He also recommended to remain well hydrated all the time. The baby movements might be less if U hadnt had enough fluids.

31 weeks + 1 day Leena replied. Hey Meenu, so good to hear about your appt. Thanks for sharing all the info. The hydration part is also helpful in preventing premature labor. So girls, keep up the water intake. I am also waiting to have my 29 week appt next week. I am enjoying all the kicking and moving right now.

Good to know that everything's well with u and the baby...it is true abt the intake of fluids...i try my best to keep drinking water but sometimes i feel real lazy...even i am looking forward to the scan somewhere in the next couple of weeks...

the baby is very active now and kicks and moves around with all it's strength...sometimes it really tickles me:)..
