I am having severe irritation, itching and stinging pain in groin area and vulvar. Itching started after D&C and irritation aggravated on applying Itchguard. It's unbearable. I am unable to walk, sit or sleep. Nothing seems to help. It is fine at times, and severe most of the time. Please help!

Hi Yuko,firstly go to your doctor as it sounds like you've got an infection.If left untreated it can worsen.If you're getting discharge get your doctor to test it and give you an appropriate cream.Itching can sometimes be relieved by sitting in a bath filled with sea salt.All the best.

Hi Ariana,

Thanks for the reply. I have seen dermatologist and gynacologist. It is not vaginal infection, I think, as there is no discharge. Though I have taken vaginal tablets too. It's related to skin only. I am getting better though not fully recovered from itching and stinging. It keeps coming back even after applying Clortrimazole cream. I feel Sofradex cream helps, though not sure why it keeps coming back.
I hope I recover soon as it is frustating and it's been a month now with this problem. Doctor does not tell for sure what it is except that it is some infection.
