i am a Bengali girl.i like to do head shave at tirupati.can i go for it or only tamil people can do it.

There is no wrong to get the complete head shave (gundu) at tirupathi, even for you. The Lord Balaji, does not recognise you, me or others by which we Bengalis, Tamils, Maharashtrians, North Indians etc. He knows everybody as his desiples.

So, you happily go for the decision you have arrived i.e. goind the complete head shave at tirupati.

Initially one or two days, your friends/relatives will tease you, but they will appreciate the same also. Go to your normal routine life without any head gear like cap/scarf etc.

I am keeping complete gundu for past 8 eyars or so, with a small notch at the centre of the head (called shikha and small portion of hair around the said shikha known as ghera). My wife and family members are pround of me for the said complete head shave. My wife is planning for the head shave, shortly we will be going to tirupati for the same.

Kindly revert back on the issue. I wish you a luck in your decision and completing it.

You are wrong in thinking only Tamil girls do headshave in Tirupati. The percentage of women and girls doing headshave at Tirupati is very large for Telugu and Tamil girls but quite a large no. of girls from other region also do it. Nafisa Ali, a Bengali and a renowned actress shaved her head at Tirupati a decade ago. There are many threads in this forum where Bengali girls and ladies have done head shave at Tirupati. So do not worry on that.
What you need to decide is whether your parents agree for that and whether you like it. All other things are secondary. If these things are met, then go ahead, visit Tirupati this summer and return home with a nice bald head.
