hi everyone,i am married since last two months. now me and my hubby wants to get our head shaved. but i am confused where to shave off my long hair either do venidaan and then tonsure at prayag or to shave it off at tirupati. I am not going to grow my hair more than a boycut after my first tonsure. so please suggest me . kajal replied. hi
aastha i read u r massage u r talking about venidan means you have good long hair. First u do venidan and grow u r hair for for 4 to 5 months and after shave it at Tirupati Balaji and keep it boy cut after shave . i know u dont want to grow u r hair but its last time to grow so think on it kajal replied. hi

Since you have decided not to grow your hair beyond a boycut length, it is best to do Venidaan and tonsure at Prayag. For Venidaan you must have Veni (a plait). With boycut no plait is there. But you can do tonsures at Tirupati with any amount of hair - be it boycut length hair or hip length hair. So, let your current plait not go waste, let it be offered as Venidaan followed by full mundan. Subsequently, you can do tonsure every year at Tirupati and boycut in between.
By the by, currently what is the length of your hair?
