Normal Delivery:stem cell preservation

I am planning to go for stem cells preservation. But I have some doubts. There are too many risks involved right from the time of collection to prervation and till making it available in case of need. Also it is for 21 yrs and after that one is required to pay annualy. I am not able to decide whether it is worth to spend 75000 in sem cell preservation? Has anyone on this forum done this?

Some key doubts regarding this:
1. Stem cells can be extracted from an adult body also so what is the value of storing these at birth
2. Stem cells can be donated like blood so why should this be a business worth so much for storing stem cells

Dear All,

I'm Dr. Meghna Bharath. I'm a strong proponent of Natural Birthing.

In the run-up to becoming a Mom myself, I prepared for Natural birth and delivered naturally. Recently I encouraged and supported my younger sister and close friends deliver naturally as well [through remote advice, since we were across a 10-hour timezone :)].
