Hello All,
Hope everyone is doing great!!!Myself a bit down..Had my appointment on 21st and came to know that i have gained only a lb in last month..My doctor told me to eat..eat..and eat..Anyway..Baby is doing fine and growing normally..
Like Meenu.me to had a surprise party on 19th june that is on saturday..Anand took me out for two ours and Anand's colleague arranged everything and i just got all the attention..I have always been shy of being the centre of attraction but that day..there was no place for me to hide..I ENJOYED it thoroughly..food,games and gifts..:)The blessings of the elderly were the most precious gifts for me and my baby..lot and lots of hugs and kisses all made me so emotional..I was so happy to see Jane's mom..she is more than 75 and came to bless my baby..I am touched..deeply..
some friends came from DC and NY..they drove all the way just to attend my baby shower...one of our friends came from NY and i met her for the first time in my life..(the girl in red capri and black top)
Anand ordered this cake specially for me..as i like berries too much...funny part is that we didn't have any cake platter and knife so we cut the cake with a knife,i use for chicken cutting....
We have tons and tons of pics.. have posted a few for you guys and you just check the photos and find them in my folder \";Farah\";..
Apart from the gifts we got the most imp thing is the blessings..they all showerd on us...
It feels so good when you enjoy being a HUMAN..you are not confined in any boundries..no boundries of country,caste,religion etc etc our friends were from Britain,sweden,turkey,vietnam ,America and India.but they all
had
the same feeling for me..I am a woman and i am bringing another life in this world and i should be happy..that was their Motto..
So friends..I will never ever forget the day 19th June 2004 in my life..
ok Hope to hear from you soon...i am late in telling you all this cos' i was not feeling well ..I am ok now but still feeling tired and weak.

Hi farah, I am so happy for u. Hey u know even i had my baby shower on the 19th June and it was a great occassion. Though i am far away from my family my friends made it a point that the occassion was really huge for me.
