Dear 0000000000,

Please don't scrub your back, it will leave scars. Rather:
When bathing: if you use hair conditioner, make sure you wash it off of your back before you leave the shower.

After bathing: pat dry your back and then apply an astringent meant for acne (important: having salicylic acid) like Clinique Clarifying lotion #4 or the cheap alternative Neutrogena Astringent (blue) that has salicylic acid.

This will take off the dead skin gently without aggressive measures that can scar your skin. While you're at home, try to wear a top that has a plunging back and wear your hair up so that your skin can heal properly.
