Dear Saniya, I really hope youcan help me with a burning question. This summer, I am hoping to get a nice, golden glow because my complesion is very pale and pasty. I think it looks dull. How can I tan safely? Please don't suggest sitting under the sun all day.. because a distant friend of mine suffered from skin cancer when she stayed outdoors all day. At the same time, I do not want my skin to turn wrinkly in the future. I'm also not keen on fake tanners, as they are not long-lasting. They come off when you have a wash. Pls reply asap.

sorry for the delay.i had some guests.
first of all,wear a substantial amount of sunscreen.i read this safe tanning technique somewhere and it was assured that this doesnt cause any problem like skin cancer.
sit in the sun for 5 minutes,then,go in the shade for 5 minutes.now,again sit in the sun for 10 minutes and go in the shade for 10 minutes.again,sit in the sun for 15 minutes and go in the shade for 15 minutes.do this daily for tanning ur body safely and effectively.
i havent tried this,i just read it somewhere long ago and so,plz dont blame me.i just tried to help...but i am against sun exposure as it causes premature ageing of skin but since u will bw wearing a sunscreen,this effect will be minimised.y dont u eat fresh fruits and vegetables especially iron and vitamin A,C and B rich foods such as apples,beetroots,green leafy vegetables like spinach,carrots and drink milk.also,exercise regularly as this will increase blood circulation imparting a natural glow to ur skin.
