Cutting or shaving your hair will not make it grow faster or thicker. The width of your hair shaft is genetically determined
Firstly, Hair should be really taken good care of:
Wearing a tight ponytail or braids pulls the hair and makes it fall out prematurely. If you think your hair is falling out and you keep checking to see, then you may also be pulling your hair out. Too much blow-drying or processing can also cause breakage and pull hair out prematurely. This includes coloring and relaxing

Apart from avoiding the above activities eat plenty of fruits for essential vitamins.
Use a hair oil with a coconut base. You could give Parachute Advansed Therapie Hair Vitaliser a try.
Also use a mild shampoo
And hairfall also depends on your lifestyle. Early to bed and early to rise does help keep your hair healthy! :)

Hi Shwetha,

If you are suffering from a severe hair loss, i would suggest you to go for a head shave. One of my cousins was suffering from a similar problem and now after she shaved her head thrice, she is really happy with her thick hair now.

Hi Sowmiya,

When you have decided to go for a head shave, go with full confidence and stop feeling shy. Once you see your thick hair growing back, you will be really happy. Good luck.
