Please advise me to get tonsure. Please tel me how to proceed?..am 24 yrs old girl. I am much interested to shave my head. But little nervous also. can u adivse me?.. to go barber shop is good experience or to parlour?..please tel me MALA CHATTERJEE replied. Sowmiya, I am a Bengalee girl, aged 28 years, and I am proud to say that I love, just love to shave my head smooth, whenever possible. Not just crew cut or buzz cut, because I think those cuts look just as if I had headshave a month previously, nothing more. But the shiny, oily bluish tinge of the head-skin, the clear side-burn outline & temple, the fresh fresh look, and more so, the breezy air fanning on my cool head,...just delicious. I have shaved my head on as many as on 8 occasions since my girlhood, and every time I msintained daily (repeat Daily) headshave for the next 3/ 3 1/2 months. Therefore, I am often called Nedi Boudi (Headshaven sister-in-law) in my locality. I just enjoy being called so. Rishob replied. Hi Sowmiya, have you already shaved your head? sorry for delay in sharing my expereince.

Atlast I did my mottai. My father took me into nearby barber shop. I felt very shevering afer seen a barber. and he made me to sit down and opened my hair and applied water and messaged my scalp. then he started shave from front part of my head. hairs are fallen at my laps. the cool breeze touches my scalp,barber did fastly by rotating my head. I really enjoyed the way he rotates my head and shaved.finally he completed. My fath touches my bald head and told barber to apply cream and shave once again in reverse manner.

Once I reached home I saw in mirror, it was smooth and shinny gundu. My parents and my younger sister enjoyed with my head by touching my gundu.

My friends & colleague' s are nowdays calling me only gundu, I felt shame first later I got habit not bothering their comments. After that again i did one more time and now am having mushroomcut. Again my parents are planning to do one more time as I need to get thickness now no dandruff prob too. Ashok replied. I got my gundu at home during the summer holidays.
I always liked short hair, I had severes dandruff problem, my aunt said its good to get gundu to get rid of the problem. My mom had no objection and I accepted on the condition to keep my hair short hereafter.

My father called for the local barber, he came home.
My mom siad to shave my hair completely.
He mad me sit on a chair put a towel around me. Opened my hair first he cut it very close to my scalp, then apllied water on the stub that remained massged my head for some time.
Then started shaving lttle stubbs of hair started falling on the white cloth.
I liked the scrape scrape noise of the shaving.
Once he completed, my mother checked my head and asked him to shave it again to make it really smooth.
He inserted anew blade and shaved my ead again.

Once completed , I touched my head it was so smooth.
I went inside to see my gundu in the mirror.
It was so smooth and shinig. I kept touching my smooth gundu all day.

During the summer holidays I had my head shaved evry 10 days for atleast 3 times.

My dandruf problem is gone. Iam going to college with half an inch of hair.
I told my friends I shaved my head due to dandruff problems during the summer..

I enjoyed the headshaving experience with straight razor in thirupathi.

You can go to the nearby temple and do it in the temple, this way you can say you had a pst vow to fulfill.
Or go to the beauty palor and get it done.

If you and your parents dont have any objection, then call the barber home and get it done right at home,this way you can take the pictures while being tonsured.
