Due Date Club January 2007:Do not like food
2006-06-10
Name: Pinki

Hi All,
I have met doctor on Wednesday. She said everything is fine. In ultrasound a cyst is found which is the cause of pain. But she said that it is normal as I ovulated. It will go away with time. But still I am worried.
Now a days, I do not like any food and have constipation from a week. I get angry on seeing food. But my husband ask me to eat at regular intervals during the day.

regards,

Pinki

keep urself hydrated..drink alot of water, to relieve from constipation..
if you dont eat, you will constipate further, leading to more troubles. if eating at interrvals doesnt appeal you, eat whenever you feel hungry !
since you said cyst is the cause of pain as seen in u/s and checked by dr, it might be an ovarian cyst..those are normal.

They occur as a result of ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary). Functional cysts normally shrink over time, usually in about 1 to 3 months. If you have a functional cyst, your doctor may want to check you again in 1 to 3 months to make sure the cyst has gotten smaller. In certain cases, your doctor may want you to take birth control pills so you won't ovulate. If you don't ovulate, you won't form cysts.

If you are menopausal and are not having periods, you shouldn't form functional cysts. If you do have a cyst, your doctor will probably want you to have a sonogram so he or she can look at the cyst. What your doctor decides to do after that depends on your age, the way the cyst looks on the sonogram and if you're having symptoms such as pain, bloating, feeling full after eating just a little,or dont feel like eating, and are constipation.

take care,
rg
