This is a real story… This is about my first Head shave … ie head tonsure. Before beginning let me introduce my self.. Im living with my two brothers. We three are living alone. I finished my plus 2. Since I m little dumb in studies I assist my elder brother in running his jewellery shop.. Since I am out of school and away from all my friends I really wanted to shave my head because I never did that in my life.. About 4-5 years back my two brothers shaved there head in our trip to palani.. but I hesitated to do at that time…
Two weeks back a surprising thing happened.. My elder brother told us that “I vowed for a head shave for all of us.. especially 4 u Sagar, U should not tell no. We are going to Thirupathi this Friday by car ”
Hearing this my second brother shouted that “I am ready”. But I was shocked hearing this. I very proudly nodded my head.. My brother also added that “Sagar, since this is your first shave u have to keep a kudumi” (patch of hair at back like in Brahmin culture and shaving remaining head) atleast for a week. I agreed for that also..
Finally the day for our tirupathi trip came.. that was Friday.. there is a drive of about 8 hours from my house to reach tirupathi.. We started out trip in our car by 10am… on the way we stopped in a textile because v didn’t bring spare dresses.. we also brought 3 kadhi dhotis, towels, 3 straight razors.. and also brought 3 head caps to hide our mottai(shaved head).
Finally we reached tirupathi around 6.30pm.. our darshan time was in 7.30am.. next day morning. We deposited our luggage at lodge. Since our darshan was in early morning we decided to shave our head that day itself. By 7 we started walking to kalyankatta(headshaving hall)by wearing khadi dhoti… On the way we had over dinner and my elder brother brought a bottle of sandal paste.. Finally we reached there at around 8.30 pm.. The hall was little rush.. we brought tickets. Soon my second brother got settled with a barber.. . Me and elder brother approached another barber.. First was my turn.. I removed my shirt.. and sat down with bow head.. I saw my elder brother ordering barber to keep kudumi at back and also to shave my first grown mustache and bear… I had very tiny mustache.
The barber rinsed my hair well and started shaving my mustache and bear.. I was gripped with excitement that time.. I was not ashamed because my brothers are also shaving there head so no one there to tease me. Soon he started shaving my head from middle part and continued to sides and back.. there was a hair fall across my eyes.. my brother was taking video.. soon it was all finished.. I rubbed my head to feel my scalp and also felt my kudumi hair.. I rushed to a mirror and looked my mottai face… I was surprised to see that. I saw my second brother also completed his shaving.. Soon my elder brother also done.. he also ordered to shave his thick mustache.. that I felt sad. My elder brother scolded my second brother not for shaving his mustache and he ordered another barber to shave his mustache also..
Finally we three mottas walked back to our lodge, took a bath and we applied thick coat of sandal paste on our head… That was soo cool my elder brother applied oil to my kudumi hair as a part of tradiction. We had nice sleep. At morning we finished our darshan and started our trip back to home. Finally we reached our home late night.. The next day morning we had fun at bed.. rubbing our shaved head… teasing each other.. We also open our jewellary shop. All customers were shocked to see our shaved head..
My elder brother told me that he will allow to shave my kudumi only after 10 days.. So for a week I roamed keeping my kundmi hair. After 10 days my hair grown a little bit upto a 1cm.. My elder brother took me to a nearby barbershop to shave my kudumi hair at back head.. Since my hair grown a little bit in my shaved area.. it will be bad liking to shave my kudumi alone.. so my brother asked barber to shave my head completely again. I was embarrassed to hear that.. The barber again wetted my hair.. and shaved my tiny hair along with kudumi.. In order to give me a company my elder brother also ordered to shave his head once again.
This is very wonderful experience.. i suggest u guys to shave ur head atleast once in ur life....
girls dont shave ur head.. coz 99 boyz dnt like it
