Due Date Club February 2003:new member

Name: Jigna Hi everyone,
I am in my 36th week now and an getting a little anxious. I read some of your posting and I am relieved to hear that I am not the only one with some of these symptoms. I have been getting the pelvic pain and also have Gestational Diabetes. My doctor sent me to a counseler and I have been able to keep my sugar levels in check so I don;t need insulin. My counselor was able to give me a list of some Indian foods with their carb exchanges, if anyone needs it let me know, it made it easier to include Indian food without having to guess at the carb exchange. Hope everyone is feeling well and hope to make some new friends:)

Hey Shannu,
I'm from NJ. I had my appt a couple of days ago. So far I am 2cm dialated but that doesn't mean much. I know it can be awhile before anything happens. Do you know if you are having a boy or girl? We don't know yet, we figured it would be more fun to have it a surprise, especially since this our first. Hope you are feeling well and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Jigna...
Welcome to the board.....
Am really glad that things R going on fine with U. So when is Ur due date???? Mine is Feb 26th... Another month to go.... Even I have Gestational diabetes.... But now the Sugar level is in ctrl.... Just counting the days so that I will B able to eat each and everything.... :-)) What more to write... All fine here... Hoping and Praying that we all go thru this phase smoothly....

I'm actually due on the same day! I agree with you, soon we will be able to eat whatever we want:) The days are going realy quickly though. My last day at work will be this coming Saturday and I am looking forward to finally being home and getting things in order. Hope that things are going well for you and look forward to chatting with you more! Take care:)
