Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is waiting for the big day and really getting tired in anticipation. I am doing good and completing 38weeks also. Today I had doc apt for which I was waiting eagerly. I was getting these broxton hick contractions very often and yesterday I had 2 real contractions too. I am getting backpain very regularly.
So, doc did internal and said not much changed, just 1/2cm dialation which is not considerable but things might move fast if contractions continue. He also said that baby is not settled yet but for second time moms, baby will come into position just before labor. So, he asked me to call him if I have contractions every 10min or even if I am not sure. Otherwise, next week appointment. But I was worried in the morning as I am having white discharge also.
Don' t know whats going to happen or what to wish for but wanted to share with you guys.
My in-laws will be here next week, so counting days. Good luck everybody and take it easy.

I am soo excited to hear about you and at the same time can understand the nervousness which comes with it. I am sometimes fascinated by the whole labor process and cant wait to experience it and the very next moment i feel \" no i am not ready yet,i dont mind carrying the baby for a few more months!!!\" .

I hope your baby will be patient and wait till your in -laws arrive. Take proper rest .I hope you are on maternity leave already.

well i had my 37th week visit,and like you and CK suggested i told my doc beforehand to be gentle. I prayed the whole time and luckily it was not as bad as before but painful all the same. but the doc said there is no progress at all, she said my cervix is still in the posterior, no dialation. She then suggested that if there is no progress at all we could go in for induction at 39 weeks (if i wanted), as the baby is growing big. She said this since my internal exam was very painfiul and i am very sensitive down there . so she feels it will be easier for me if the baby is delivered when it is little smaller.

I hope i start progressing by then as i want the baby to complete full term,or atleast come when it is ready. i dont want to force it out. But then i will do whatever is best for the baby.i' ll know for sure in my next visit.
