Dear All
I'm pregnant for 7 months. I don't know exactly where to post this message and adv. So i'm doing it here. My mother is suppose to come here for my delivery. I live in new jersey. But due to visa and passport delays i think she may not be able to come here to help me...I really need help because i'm weak and this is my first time pregnancy and i don't know to handle many things after delivery...
So i sincerely request if anybody is in new jersey who can come and help me if they are free and ready to help me...
I'm a tamil speaking girl who will be friendly and adjust with most of the people...this is a real needed sincere help i'm asking...pl. also advise me as what to do now for help and assistance. If there are any elders at home in new jersey who is willing to help me after delivery and take care of me after delivery for sometime with good heart, i will be really thankful and also take care of the monetary fees for it.
PLease friends help me and advise me to do the needful.
Regards
Barathy.

Hello Barathy,

I felt bad to read your message. I am sure you have considered this but I just wanted to check. Can someone from your husband's side of the family visit you from India? Do you have any relatives living in US who can come atleast for a week or so, if not longer?

Hope someone is able to make it. If not, I have heard that you can hire a doula for some days. She is a trained person who assists women during and after childbirth. You can check the info at www(dot)dona(dot)org
It might be expensive but do check it out.

Best wishes, Aarti

Best wishes
