how r u all? i am fine waiting impatiently....

i went to my doc check up on 5th when i had completed 39 weeks and to my shock doctor said the babys head has not engaged and said its a big baby and asked me to look for a date for c-section.

i was shocked. i could not take those words from her. actually i told her that we will wait till my due date - ie., 12th and she agreed for the same as the fetal heart beat of the baby was fine.

but even today the head has not yet ennaged. i am more tensed and worried.

will go for a scan on thursday morning and then will go meet my gynao. hope things work out by then.

spl congrats to sonal, neena, madhuri and jaya... my sister takes a print out of all ur updates da. so i am updated daily.

i will also ask her to post my updates to u.

I am from March board and have delivered on 6th March.
I have beeen checking updates on april as well.
This is something that i thot is shud share from my experience.
I was due on march . My gyno' s logic was to wait a week after nine months are over . SO on 6th i was in hospital and she induced labour on that day.. unfortunately the labour did not progress and we went for csection in the evening.
btw the bby' s head was engaged around 39th week .

another incident of a friend:
she was due on 1st april. Her gyno was ready to wait for days after the due date. the baby' s head was not engaged till the 7th but she managed to deliver normally and naturally by 9th.

The point i am trying to make is different gynos will have different take on how long to wait onced the due date is gone. so if you have the opportuinity pls take a second opinion.
