Im having a problem with dry skin of the palms and feet. usually it happens only in the winters...but this year it has continued well beyond the winter....can someone suggest any solution to this yearly problem. (overall i have dry skin)

One of my friends told me to use a pumice stone. can someone guide me as to where can i buy a pumice stone in mumbai. Is it effective?

You can get pumic stone in any cosmetic outlet or in any supermarts... I am not sure where in Mumbai...

For getting rid of dry skin try the following

1. Boil water with little rose water drops in it. After the water is boiled add few drops of usual shampoo which is mild and add stone salt (The big salt which is used for cooking)

2. Now soak your feet in the water. Remember the water shuld not be very hot that it peels off your skin.. Let the temperature of the water be bearable by your feet.

3. Soak for 5-8 mins.

4. Now take a pumic stone or a foot scrap which u will get in and cosmetic shop and scrub you sole of the feet. This will remove all dry and hard skin and also will remove the dirt from your feet.

5. After this process dry your feet with a soft towel and apply moisturiser or petroleum jelly.

6. don't put your feet down for an hour or so.

**Remember don't be harsh to your feet.

And also I have read in some article that applying ptroleum jelly or oil to your feet am=nd covering it with socks for the whole night will soften the feet.
