Hi sania,

I am in my 4th month of rpegnancy and from last one week my skin has become extreme dry and rough.
And some dark patches have also developed on my skin just above my cheeks on both sides(cheek bones). I apply cream and even oil but the dryness doesnt seem to go away and neither the patches. I have a normal to dry skin but usually my skin is normal during this season (march-april). I have read somewhere that it could be because of hormonal changes during pregnancy however i cant wait till to get rid of them.

My second problem is that I was fair and now my complexion seems to get darken day by day. I read somewher where u suggested to drink honey+lemon juice+warm water however i cant take them bcoz of my pregnancy. can u suggest some alternative..? and also can i apply the same paste on my face..I have a dry skin..

let me congratulate u first of all.may ur baby be a source of pride,prestige and happiness for u all!
coming to ur problem,u r absolutely correct when u said that all these problems r arising due to hormonal changes.u just have 2 be extremely patient.once u deliver ur baby,things will go back to normal and so will ur skin colour.
try applying malai on ur face.u can mix it with lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric.it really helps to lighten,soften and moisten the complexion.u can also apply honey+lemon,no prob in that.
as far as intenral remedies r cocnerned,i wont suggest anything.i am unexperienced and too young and i lack knowledge on this subject.i suggest u concult ur gynaecologist for beter information.
uc ana lso try massaging coconut oil before going to bed.dont use chemicals on ur skin and have a healthy,wholesome diet.drinking milk+saffron may help in lightening ur skin as well as ur baby's maybe..but do get it approved!
