Hi,

Yesterday, when I waxed my underarms by myself...I saw blood. I usually shave my underarms...but as they become dark by shaving so I decided to wax. So I bought readymade wax strips from Walmart...and after the first pull it started bleeding...and also very painful.

In India i have had only waxed my hands in the parlour...and I did not experience so much pain.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.....

dear jaya,
the most probable explanation regarding ur problem is that u must have used the wax incorrectly.if the methods suggested by angel and sana dont work,then i strongly recommend getting ur under arms waxed at a reputed saloon.my mom makes home made wax.we just apply it on a cloth and use that to wax our arms and underarms.

You need to use warm or hot wax for underarm. Because readymade wax strips have cold wax on them and will not work properly on underarm. I use Parissa Warm wax kit and its fabulouse. Give it a try and dont pull too hard just pull in opposite direction. It should work!! works for me ;) best wishes

i had the same problem, i used to shave but then they got kinda dark thts why i started waxing...but ill really suggest if u can get someone to wax ur underarms for you...it doesnt hurt as much ... and abt the bleeding it will stop eventually...u must have pulled it too hard :)...no worries no biggies...hehe
