Hi everyone!!!

i had my 20 week scan yesterday!!! it was great!!! i somehow contained myself.. while the doc took measurements......
and baby dear was quite shy.. not showing in profile... so she had to tap my tummy lots of times to make it move.... it was quite a joke!

then.... we got to see his eyes, mouth.. which was opening and closing when she tapped him hard :-) his spine, hands, legs, fingers, kidneys, bladder, stomach and heart!! andddddd...... we really could' nt resist... so we found out!! ( i know megs... no will power)

It' s A BOY!!!!

well... when she told us it' s a boy... hubby dear was like.. are you sure.. look again.. it should be a girl (poor guy.. he was dreaming of baby girls for a while :-) ) but we' re happy... and i won the bet :-))

we had two docs verify it..... just because my dear baby was shy he would' nt move in to the right position for the doc to complete some measurements... so she had another doc come in... who told us again that it' s a boy...
the sad part is... no more looking at pretty frocks at the stores :-(
but!!!! now it' s dad' s work :-) playing!! :-))
hmm.... we' re having boy dreams now!!

this makes things easier now - baby names, shopping for clothes etc etc... you take care and enjoy yourself...

Finally after a long long U/S baby revelead its gender and I won the bet! Cute little pea inside me is a BABY GIRL!I am so excited and so is my Hubby ..words cant express this beautiful moment... we got to see the brain, heart, spinal cord and ofcourse the gender.. Just wanted to express my happiness through this board! Wishing you all a happy and healthy pregnancy..

It was realy heart felt to read about ur U/S. Even I want to know the sex of my baby... but as i am in India, its not possible. i have to wait for another 4 months atleast to get it know.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!! to you for being mother of a lil boy. I can understand how did you feel when you saw your baby as I also went through this stage yesterday only.

congratulations for the baby boy...it was really nice to read ur experience and i enjoyed every word of it. u know when i was writing (typing) my experinece, i had so many things in my mind but didnt know how to put it in words...but u hv really done a good job.

i know its really hard to resist urself to know gender of the baby when u hv the opportunity. even v were also confused but finally v also decided to know.

ya, whether to find out gender of baby or not, is really a puzzling decision. Even I want to keep it a surprise but sometimes I feel like, lets c who is it.

Congrats on the baby boy in the belly.Your hubby will think otherwise after the baby is born.My son is almost 3 with tons of energy and my hubby knows exactly how to expend his energy.They play all these \" boyish\" ( kind of rough and toughish)games and my son thoroughly enjoys his time with his dad.I like to jiggle and wiggle with them too but as a mom,I am more into cuddling and other \" mommy\" sentiments.It will be a great experience for both you and your hubby.I promise that.

Till then, keep dreaming and think of boy names.

LOL@are you sure.. look again.. it should be a girl!! my hubby himself wants a baby girl n says he is so sure that its a girl that the first baby dress we' ll buy will HAVE to be in pink!

so did u start the shopping yet? and do u plan to tell ur family/friends that u' re having a boy or will it be a surprise for them?

I was waiting for ur mail abt ur ultrasound experience.I checked my inboz first then I logged on to this site n found out abt ur experience...must say what an amazing experience..:-)..shy baby haan...:-)just wait n watch let him grow up:-)...so finally got tempted n decided to know whether its a boy or girl..Hmm tuff decision ,yaa,but a gud decision..Atleast now u can do up ur nursery in blue colour:-)n gud,u can shortlist cute boy names.

as soon as I saw your subject..I guessed it that you found out your baby´ s gender :)
So i searched only for boy/girl in your message ..after finding it ..I read the whole message :)))

It was wonderful..I am so desperately waiting to know about my baby...I know long 5 weeks more...

so may be you can start selecting some good boy names..
